Position Description:
The Engineering Support Analyst will:
-Resolve issues with various engineering applications such as CAE software Hyperworks, LS Dyna, Rational Suite, Attlasian Suite
-Manage FLexLM license server management
-Interface with application vendors and internal support team to resolve technical issues
-Maintain and update configurations within the application
-work with end users to determine business requirements for enhanced functionality
document business requirements with the functional and technical specification documents
-Develop and implement changes to the application based on user requirements
-Install and test all changes and patches to the environment
-Update applications to remediate security vulnerabilities issues
-Support SOX, Cyber and other audit requirements
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related.
1-5years experience supporting engineering level applications
Experience supporting one of the following applications in an engineering environment Slicwave, Rational Suite, Atlassian Suite Jira , Confluence, Bitbucket, GIT
Software development support
System Administration and configuration
Knowledge and Experience with development tools and environments tools such as:
-Slicwave
-Rational Suite
-Atlassian Suite Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket-
-GIT
-VMware
-Nation Instruments-NI
-Linux OS
-SQL Server
-Scripting
-Software testing
Modeling/Analysis/ Simulation
Knowledge/ experience with CAE tools and environments such as:
Mentor Graphics
Ansys
Hyperworks
NX Nastran
LS-Dyna
MATLAB
HPC Cluster
MuSes
Knowledge of engineering business process
Knowledge of ITIL processes preferred, but not required
Experience in the defense industry preferred, but not required
