DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Federal Mogul Powertrain's Bearings business is looking for a Lead Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for directing the Logistics Coordinators in maintaining positive customer relations and
working effectively with production to satisfy customer demands in our busy and established (we've been around 78 years!) plant in Greenville, MI. The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential to your success at Federal-Mogul.
In order to excel, an ideal candidate would be a degreed logistics professional with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment who possesses a high degree of leadership, ex eptional customer service skills and outstanding communication skill in all areas (interpersonal, speaking, writing and listening). This person will become a valued member of our Logistics Department; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Oversee salaried direct reports on the logistics team including responsibility
for (but not limited to): coaching, mentoring, providing critical feedback, effective
team building and development, conducting formal performance review and assigning
goals of Logistics Coordinators. Will also advise Shipping and Receiving
personnel in various job functions.
•Communicate with Production any changes in quantities, ship dates, past dues and/or orders as received from the customer. Maintains an accurate finished goods inventory and take corrective action as needed.
•Handle escalated customer concerns and utilize effective problem solving to resolve issues in a timely matter while maintaining strong customer relations, keeping their goals in mind and always thinking about continuous improvement.
•Review EDI, troubleshoot problems, and actively look and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
•Responsible for managing customer accounts, requirements and communications for all assigned customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelors' degree in business, logistics or related field preferred.
Skills & Experience:
•Logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
•3-6 years of customer service experience
•Demonstrated effective problem solving skills
•Manager or supervisory experience preferred
•Effective communication skills both verbal and written
