Design Technician – CATIA Job Summary:
A local manufacturing company is seeking a Design Technician to join its team and assist with designing and developing engine components utilizing CATIA and CAD software; the main focus of this role is 3D modeling. This is a long-term contract to hire opportunity with a growing organization!

Design Technician – CATIA Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and create component and assembly drawings and models for approval
- Create 3D drawings from existing parts and/or convert 2D drawings to 3D drawings
- Research and recommend design changes based on data and mathematical qualifications
Schedule: 1st shift
Design Technician – CATIA Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience using CATIA for 3D modeling and product design
- Familiarity with designing / modeling engine components a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in a related field preferred
Location: Kentwood, MI
Position Type: Full-time; Contract-to-hire position
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00/HR based on experience and qualifications
