Basic Purpose and Objective
Support customer returned Stud Welding Equipment. Prepare weld samples for sales and customers and prepare files on sample requests.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
* Log incoming equipment into the service repair database.
* Evaluate, troubleshoot, rebuild, calibrate and test all Stanley Engineered Fastening equipment.
* Order replacement parts for stock and repairs.
* Completes and files field service reports and expense reports, when required, on all service calls.
* Is capable of repairing all returned equipment. Works up necessary paper work for repair of the material.
* Welds sample parts and records the information on the techniques used to weld samples.
* Assist in maintaining the database to determine part failures for continuous improvement of product lines.
* Assists Production and Quality Control in troubleshooting equipment in-house and instructs check out procedures to aid production in troubleshooting equipment.
* Ship parts needed to service technicians in all regions.
* Computer literacy, must be able to perform basic computer skills.
* Available to assist Field Service Engineer s if needed
Education Required
A high school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years specialized electrical / electronic training preferred.
Experience Required
Three (3) years of job-related experience is preferred, with two (2) years minimum experience. Must have working knowledge of Stanley Engineered Fastening product lines.53915BR
