General Summary
The Procedure and Training Coordinator position works within the EPM Plant Mods West Startup & Testing organization. This position is assigned to projects and provides the department's clients high quality project oversight, training support, and technical writing skills. Guidance and oversight will be provided for:
•The development and or revision of all operating and alarm procedures affected by assigned projects to include scheduling task completion.
•Determining training needs and content, development of training materials and schedules, and presenting training if required.
This person is responsible for updating existing and creating new operational procedures such as: GOPs, SOPs, ARPs and ERPs for EPM West Projects. This effort is to ensure consistency and quality throughout the project. This will ensure a qualtiy product to the customer and to be complient to all standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Oversee and manage Testing and Commissioning of EPM Projects
•Work closely with Project Mgt., Engineering, Construction and Operations
•Develop Project Turnover Packages for EPM Projects
•Coordinate Training for newly installed equipment
•Coordinate equipment going on line with plant resources
•Enforce standard practices are utilized
The selected candidate can also expect to do the following:
•Work with the client to determine procedural needs.
•Provide a skilled resource to write operations and maintenance procedures when outside resources are not available.
•Work with the project, contract AE firms, and vendors to determine training needs for newly installed equipment.
•Working with the project, contract AE firms, and vendors to develop and present training for newly installed equipment.
•Working with the plant training, operations, and maintenance departments to schedule needed training classes.
•Providing a skilled resource to write and present operations and maintenance training when outside resources are not available.
•Analyze activities to determine schedule and report out on progress.
This position will be based out of the J.H. Campbell Plant located in West Olive, MI.
Required Qualifications
•A Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical field with 2 or more years of exempt experience in the specific field. (OR) An Associate's degree in a scientific/technical field with 5-7 years of experience in the specific field (OR) Extensive (10+ years) Company or industry experience in positions that demonstrate required abilities and performance.

•Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with business customers and members of the project team.
•Must be well organized and a self-starter.
•Knowledge of utility industry, generation operation or performance metric is preferred, but not required.
•Able to travel to all locations on the west side of Michigan to support the many projects EPM Startup & Testing Department is supporting.
