General Summary
This is a new role of Commissioning Oversight for all EPM Projects to ensure consistency and quality throughout the project. This will ensure a qualtiy product to the customer and to be compliant to all standards.
The selected candidate will need to have a broad range of experience in electrical, mechanical and I&C disciplines to allow him/her to perform commissioning and startup of complete systems including any associated coordination in support of activities pertaining to project construction and turnover to the generating plant/compression sites. Coordination between all disciplines of Startup & Testing, Plant Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Contractors and Equipment Vendors will be required during commissioning activities. These projects are focused at system upgrades and various machinery health and condition monitoring projects aimed at improving plant productivity and reliability.
Activities include, but are not limited to:
•The preparation or verification of commissioning/test packages;
•Manage and verify all test documentation (alignments, vibration etc.);
•Performing electrical/mechanical commissioning including startup of equipment to ensure integrity prior to system/plant startup through an internal acceptance program;
•Coordinate/support any vendor commissioning/performance and warranty testing;
•Working with vendors to couple driver to load; reviewing instrument calibration & testing verification records including piping hydro/pressure test packages, pump/compressor alignment and lubrication records;
•Construction turnover acceptance and assembling the complete turnover for the plant/compression station;
This position will be based out of the Jackson - Parnall office. The selected candidate can expect to travel to the project site during execution phase.
Required Qualifications
•A Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical field with 2 or more years of exempt experience in the specific field. (OR) An Associate's degree in a scientific/technical field with 5-7 years of experience in the specific field (OR) Extensive (10+ years) Company or industry experience in positions that demonstrate required abilities and performance.

Essential Functions
Project support for the planning of Commissioning activies such as; design review, construction coordination, creating and maintaining project turnover documents, managing all checkout and startup of newly installed or modified equipment for Gas Compression and Storage plus Electric Generation. Duties and who this individual administratively reports to will fluctuate between projects. Supervise and consult on a complex set of activities in support of Gas Compression, Storage and Electric Generation. Provide commissioning support services with accuracy, on time and under budget. Understand and follow company established standard procedures for file structure and standard drawing procedures for projects. Become familiar with plans and specifications and related material for each project and be able to utilize the information appropriately. Assists in vendor contact and communication. Utilize effective communication skills to answer inquiries from coworkers, vendors and other work groups. May review operating and construction sites to monitor progress and other duties per the design documents. Individual must be able to clearly communicate with field personal to safely perform equipment checkouts. Individual must be able to understand and comply with NERC standards. Regular attendance is expected.
Hours and Travel
This position requires the individual work 40 hours per week with 90% of time spent in the office or specific field locations. Overtime will be required at times to enable the project to maintain schedule. This position will require approx. 20% travel within the state.
