Global Supply Chain Operations Manager

Responsibilities:
•Lead supply chain best practice and continuous improvement activities
• Support the development and continual improvement of SCM business processes and supporting technologies
• Enhance the SCM Playbook and SCM Assessment; improve the documentation of lean expectations, guidelines synopsis and maintain updates on a consistent cadence
• Provide leadership in the rapid deployment of the AAM SCM Operating system
• Develop calibrated auditors globally by developing assessment training documentation and develop a 'train-the-trainer' methodology
• Lead business reporting to support Corporate objectives
• Regularly visit AAM facilities to assess with SCM and MMOG audits to drive compliance
• Assist plants with audit non-compliance resolution; development of corrective action plans and monitor action registers/PDCAS to drive closure
• Champion customer delivery rating improvements and root cause analysis
• Other duties as assigned.
•Ability to travel up to _40_% U.S. & International
•Reports to the Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain Operations
Required Education & Experience:
•Bachelor Degree in SCM or equivalent technical degree / experience
•Minimum 10 years' experience in SCM / Materials Management
•Minimum 10 years in an automotive manufacturing environment
•Minimum 5 years' experience with lean implementation
•Working knowledge of operating systems
Preferred:
•MBA
•CPSM / CPIM / other SCM professional certification
•Direct managerial experience of cross-functional team
•Knowledge of ORACLE
