Dart Container is seeking a Tooling Support Supervisor to manage a team of highly skilled Engineers and Designers responsible for keeping our Thermoform tools operating at peak efficiency.

Day-to-Day Role:

Manage the coordination and overall integration of engineering projects

Provide direction, technical expertise, and support resources

Consult or negotiate with company and external customers regarding project specifications, resources, timelines, costs, and other relevant information

Manage the coordination to acquire internal and external equipment for new or existing production lines

Manage performance metrics; failure, analysis, and corrective action procedures; equipment capacities and risks; and other engineering solutions to ensure consistency across all facilities

Research and implement cost savings opportunities for the company and external customer

Establish continuous improvement plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved

Mentor staff

Supervise and direct the work of others

Responsible for employee development, discipline, performance appraisals, and administration of policies
