Objective:
To serve as the primary resource for administration and control over all Information Technology (IT) Division procurements of hardware, software and related assets. To serve as the primary resource for administration and control over company-owned hardware and software asset management. To plan, document, prepare orders and track financial contracts and invoices for approved company purchases as directed by management. To record hardware and software purchases within the IT Division asset tracking system. To provide financial budget support and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Administer the acquisition, deployment, and retirement of all computing hardware and software assets for the company. Create, document, and recommend appropriate policies and procedures to management as they relate to the ongoing use and deployment of company assets.
Serve as the primary IT Division resource for planning, documenting, and implementing planned moves and changes to existing company-owned computer hardware and software assets as directed by management. Provide consulting and technical input to end-users requesting such changes. Review software licensing implications of requested changes with Security and Compliance and recommend proper new licensing when applicable.
Establish standards for Open Systems/personal computer hardware. Provide documentation on the standards and update the documentation as the standards change based on equipment changes/refreshes.
