This position has responsibility for teaching students the development and use of effective and efficient study strategies that can be utilized in college courses. Instruction will focus on teaching students about goal-setting and self-monitoring, learning styles, test preparation and test-taking, lecture and textbook note taking, time management and concentration, and general strategies for more efficient learning. Required: Master’s Degree in Education, Career and Technical Education, Educational Counseling, Reading or Developmental Education or Special Education (with Learning Disabilities endorsement) or related fields. Experience teaching reading, developmental-level, and/or language arts at the high school and/or post-secondary levels.
