Northern Michigan University is seeking applications for an Assistant Director of Global Campus-Marketing and Enrollment. The position will manage daily operations regarding all aspects of the Global Campus marketing and enrollment management process for domestic distance education including non-traditional and adult learners. Oversight includes constituent relationship management (CRM) systems, identification and recruitment of new student populations, and prospective student pre-admission counseling/advising.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Valid motor vehicle driver's license. Three years of professional experience in college admissions and two year of experience in any of the following (can be concurrent): a. college admissions publications/communications; b. marketing, public relations or communications; c. managing components of a constituent relationship management (CRM) systems.
Knowledge/skills/abilities required: Extensive knowledge of academic programs and University services and policies. Broad and detailed understanding of admissions policies, procedures, and accepted admissions practices. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent critical thinking skills, good judgment-able to effectively analyze situations, documents, and communications in order to make decisions. Strong communication skills-must be able to communicate both written and verbally with a diverse population. Effective interpersonal skills-able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. Computer applications (database, spreadsheets, word processing, web technologies, conferencing systems like Skype). Demonstrated intercultural competence by working with different cultures, genders, and age ranges. Demonstrated experience using social media for outreach purposes. Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially when handling student records/information. Ethical. Reliable. Team oriented.
The position is traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm; evening and weekend work may be required. The targeted salary range is $45,000-$51,700.
