Business Analyst Description:
- Responsible for financial analysis to ensure conformance to budgetary limits.
- Assist with the preparation of operating budgets plans, and analyze trends affecting budget needs.
- Assist in maintaining systems and processes to improve the budget process.
- Provide reporting and analysis of actual results compared to budget and strategic plans.
- Prepare management reports and analysis.
- Support financial review meetings with all level of managements.
- Provide support during monthly financial closing process.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Requires a bachelors degree and three plus years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- May report to a supervisor or a manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 0-3 years experience.
Business Analyst Requirements:
- Requires a strong, process-oriented, analytical individual.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related discipline. **YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A COMPLETED BACHELORS DEGREE
- Strong business acumen, including strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proficiency with office automation software (MS Office Suite-including Access, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong MS Excel skills including Pivots, Macros, Vlookups, etc.
- Strong data entry skills
- Conceptual knowledge of Information Technology required
- Ability to plan assignments and follow through to completion
- Independent, self-motivated and results-oriented, including ability to prioritize several conflicting demands to achieve optimum service performance while maintaining a sense of urgency. Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and rapid change.
- Outstanding interpersonal, listening, communication (both written and oral), presentation, organizational, facilitation, and financial skills.
- The ability to effectively work and team with clients at all levels including management personnel.
- Documentation and technical writing skills for creation of processes, policies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
