RESPONSIBILITIES - Tolerance Stack Analyst
- Complete complex loop method stacks and fastener joint stacks
- Maintain close contacts (through WebEx, emails and phone) with assigned customer base to capture design and development.
- Develop and complete process reports to document results and share with the Engineering and Design team
REQUIREMENTS - Tolerance Stack Analyst
- Proficient and working knowledge in conducting loop method tolerance stacks
- Proficient and working knowledge in conducting fastener joint tolerance stacks including experience in thread engagement, bearing area calculations, etc.
- Proficient and working knowledge in the use of the Siemens Variation Analysis software
- Strong knowledge and experience in at least one premium CAD software package - Unigraphics NX, Catia V5, Pro Engineer
- Five years minimum experience in completing the above listed stack processes
- Working knowledge of GD&T and descriptive geometry
- Strong Analytical skill and dexterity using trigonometry
- Candidate should possess knowledge and skills in the commodity and be able to resolve and develop feasible solutions using previous experience
- Candidate must be a self-starter, motivated and works with minimal guidance
- Proven track record of development of innovative solutions, problem solving, proactive skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Lead design reviews with various stakeholders to communicate status, issues and next steps
PREFERRED SKILLS - Tolerance Stack Analyst
- Experience completing variation stacks using Siemens Variation Analysis software is an advantage
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office software
