We are a seeking a motivated individual with a passion for serving others and the ability to work well with a large team to fulfill a diverse Activities Director position.
Essential Job functions include:
- Planning, scheduling and implementing a large variety of well-rounded programs intending to educate, motivate and entertain residents: fitness, nutrition, gardening, tutoring, technology education, career search, multi-cultural, recreational, holiday and community outreach and engagement are a few of the program focuses.
- Maintain high contact and foster quality relationships with residents and community partners by facilitating and attending activities, events and quality communication.
- Coordinate scheduling with program and event instructors, volunteers, hosts and organizations for program implementation.
- Publish and coordinate distribution of monthly newsletters and Non-Profit quarterly newsletters.
- Engage in fundraising and oversee grant writing processes to secure funds for programming implementation.
- Supervise and support programs administrative staff.
- Analyze and report on program statistics on a monthly basis to track progress, evaluate success and develop programming goals.
- Attend activities, training classes and educational seminars organized by other groups to develop new ideas and cater programming to meet the changing needs of the community’s residents.
- Other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
