Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - 2 Open Positions (EME001434)
Promotes and exemplifies the mission and values of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis and supports the goals of OSF HealthCare System; utilizes the nursing process and the standards of nursing care in the delivery of patient care; manages assigned personnel and promotes collaboration among the allied services; completes other duties under the direction of Supervisory Personnel.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN Preferred.
BSN mandatory within 6 years of hire, if not currently held. (signed agreement required)
All experience noted must be as an RN-
* ACU: One year of hospital based experience in the past five years.
* ED: One year ED or SCU experience or two years Med-Surg experience within the past three years.
* Medical/Surgical: Graduate Nurses are eligible. Must become licensed within 90 Days of employment.
* OB/Labor-Delivery/Nursery: One year experience in a labor and delivery unit within the past three years.
* Surgical Services: One year experience in the OR within the past three years.
* PACU: One year PACU, ED or SCU experience or two years of acute hospital based experience within the past three years.
* SCU: One year acute hospital based experience in the last three years.
Licensure/Certifications:
* ACU: Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan.
CPR Certified and Maintain Certification
Must have current ACLS certification and maintain.
Assignment to Oncology must successfully complete Chemotherapy certification within 6 months and maintain certification thereafter.
* ED:Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan
CPR Certified and Maintain Certification
Must have current ACLS certification and maintain.
Must successfully complete PALS within 1 year of hire or transfer and maintain certification thereafter.
Must successfully complete triage course and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) when assigned by manager.
* Medical/Surgical: Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan.
CPR Certified and Maintain Certification
Must successfully complete the BCA* course within 6 months of hire or transfer and maintain proof of competency thereafter.
* OB/Labor-Delivery/Nursery: Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan
CPR Certified and Maintain Certification
Must successfully complete Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) within the first 6 months of hire or transfer and maintain proof of certification thereafter. Must successfully complete Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course within 1 year of hire or transfer and maintain proof of certification thereafter.
* Surgical Services: Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan.
CPR Certified and Maintain Certification
Must successfully complete the BCA* course within 6 months of hire or transfer and maintain proof of competency thereafter.
* PACU: Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan.
CPR Certified and Maintain Certification
Must have current ACLS certification and maintain.
Must successfully complete PALS within 1 year of hire or transfer and maintain certification thereafter.
* SCU: Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan.
