The PIC Group is seeking to fill Mechanic positions in Novi, MI.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Proven record of Workmanship, Professionalism, Team Player
Reviewing work orders and discussing with co-workers or supervisors
Inspecting motors in operation, road testing vehicles and testing automotive systems and components using electronic/computer or other testing devices to diagnose problems and isolate faults
Adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems including fuel, brake, steering and suspension systems
Able to perform services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Advising customer on work performed, general vehicle conditions and future repair requirements
Knowledge of scanning and diagnosing automobiles using computer would be an asset
Comply with relevant local Health and Safety legislation
Qualifications:
Highly developed mechanical knowledge
Complete dismantling skills
Valid driver's license
Hi-lo experience is a bonus
Previous supervisory experience an asset
Certified mechanic technician preferred
Computer literate
Strong organizational skills
Must be able to work outdoors
Physically capable of lifting and moving items 50 lbs+
Must have own tools
