Works closely with the Director Insurance Risk Management to support the implementation and administration of the company's property and liability insurance risk management programs.
Responsibilities:
•Manage insurance programs
•Participate in insurance renewal process; gather & submit underwriting data; review & analyze quotes, binders, and policies.
•Maintain and administer insurance policy documentation and supporting information.
•Respond to inquiries from within and outside CMS regarding insurance program.
•Manage insurance claims
•Collect and prepare information supporting the amount claimed from insurance.
•Work with organizational unit(s) as appropriate to address questions, issues, etc.
•Review contracts between the company and various contractors
•Supports the contract review process and advises on contract insurance requirements.
•Analyze contracts for impact on CMS' insurance programs.
•Provide insurance advice in special projects
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in finance or related area
•5+ years' experience in corporate risk management or insurance underwriting, brokerage, and/or claims.

•Insurance professional designation of CPCU and/or ARM preferred

The Financial Analyst Job Family is utilized primarily in the Finance department. Performing all of the Financial functions for the Company including but not limited to: analyzing financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions, assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports, evaluate and compare the relative quality of various securities, interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences.

The work environment often includes dealing with risk and limiting exposure.
Leadership, management, facilitation and interaction with senior management will be markedly increased at the mid - highest levels of this job family while the need for direction and supervision will be markedly decreased.
