The Test Development Manager is responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering General Assembly Core Electrical Group and for managing NAFTA functions which include standards in equipment and processes, and World Class Technology (WCT), with the primary focus on electrical and test development. Additional responsibilities will include Center of Competency (CoC) for all electric testing, flash stations, TPM and rolls within General Assembly NAFTA region, interfacing with engineering (electrical, powertrain, driveline, Uconnect) and developing electrical process standards for test, proxy, and vehicle configuration with Design for manufacturing intent.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree
•10+ years related experience
•3+ years manufacturing specific experience
•Experience as a supervisor/manager/team lead
•Strong knowledge of General Assembly equipment and processes
•Demonstrated leadership skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
•Experience in General Assembly maintenance
•Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and World Class Technology (WCT)
