Job Description
The Human Resources Representative supports the Human Resources team to provide excellent HR customer service to employees on all shifts in Reed City, MI.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities
•Enters data and maintains HRIS records.to ensure up-to-date and accurate information
•Efficiently creates and processes reports from HRIS databases
•Ensures that human resource files and records are maintained per legal requirements
•Helps schedule and facilitate temporary staffing for all facilities
•Supports recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, performing phone screens, generating offer letters and creating new hire employment packets
•Collaborates with HR team members to address and resolve employee issues and concerns
•Helps coordinate onboarding process for new hires
•Helps perform HR and Benefit orientations for new hires
•Helps create and maintain personnel, benefit and payroll files for employees
•Assists with HR events and programs
•Assists with maintenance and distribution of HR communications
•Provides administrative support to the Human Resources team
•Performs special assignments and projects
Position Requirements
•BA degree, concentration in Human Resources preferred
•Minimum 1 year Human Resources experience
•Experience in a manufacturing environment, strongly preferred
•Ability to work hours that support all 3 shifts
•Willingness to occasionally travel to other facilities to provide support
•Ability to maintain confidential information
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong listening and interpersonal skills
•Excellent administrative skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
•Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
