Due to our steady growth, we have an immediate opening for a Service Parts Coordinator/Customer Service Agent within Roush Performance. This is a role that resides in the Customer Experience Organization and is a critical piece for enhancing the customer’s experience with Roush. We are looking for a well-rounded person with experience in automotive service parts administration and management, customer service, and customer satisfaction. This position is located at our Plymouth, MI facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform activities relating to our service parts business:
- Support identifying adequate service parts and creating part numbers for our products during the Roush Product Development Process
- Determining pricing for all new and existing service parts
- Managing service part inventory, MOQs, and safety stock
- Support business initiatives in order to drive service part sales and profit
- Managing service part customer satisfaction including on-time-delivery, lead times, packaging, and componentry content
- Managing our service parts policy and working with cross-functional departments to drive adherence to the policy
- Perform activities in our customer service department:
- Fielding customer phone calls and emails addressing various inquires including but not limited to: order status, shipping concerns, RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorization), etc.
- Respond to inquiries and complaints in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner following standard operating procedures
- Supporting administrative tasks such as new dealer setup in our ERP system, VIN registration, pricing policy enforcements, and payment processing
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Service Parts Coordinator/Customer Service Agent must have minimum 1 year of automotive parts, service, or sales experience
- Must have at least 1 year of professional customer service experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling inbound and outbound phone calls
- Strong customer service account relationship building and excellent listening skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and demeanor
- Service Parts Coordinator/Customer Service Agent must have strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills:
- Salesforce experience
- PeopleSoft experience
