The Client Development Manager is accountable to meet or exceed sales and profit goals in the Louisiana, Mississippi, & Alabama territories. The CDM will actively promote Tubelite products to add new clients and increase share of existing clients business. The CDM will actively promote Tubelite's branded products and services to the architectural arena and specification writer community. The CDM will strengthen relationships with glazing contractors, by providing excellent customer care, along with product application, and industry knowledge.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
•Meet or exceed mutually established order input; weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
•Develop working relationships with architects and specifiers via frequent presentations, project- specific design assistance, plus net working within the architectural association events.
•Educate and train architects, specifiers and clients on features, benefits and functionality of company's products and services overall.
•Territory type of client's is, Small, Target & Large. (Maintain the right mix)
•Follow established sales prospecting protocol.
•Service existing clients via regular/frequent personal visits and telephone communication.
•Provide information to clients in a timely manner. Also gather quote follow up information to be recorded in the quote follow up log.
•Help clients identify proper fenestration systems during pre-construction.
•Work with Engineering Department to ensure that proper testing and engineering requirements are met during pre-construction.
•Follow up with client orders, and solve client issues when necessary.
•Provide accurate and timely market intelligence information for the territories.
•Monitor and make recommendations on pricing with in the territories.
•Develop and monitor individual sales budgets and monthly order entry forecasts.
Position Requirements:
•Minimum three years' experience in architectural building products field sales, building envelope experience preferred.
•Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
•Extensive understanding of standard and engineered fenestration systems.
•Basic understanding of construction blueprint, details, and design, plus technical manuals.
•Excellent communication, problem solving and time/self-management skills.
•Good presentation skills are mandatory. Must be capable of speaking confidently & professionally to a large group of architects during a box lunch presentation, plus client training classes. (Products and Tubelite Portal training)
•Must be willing to travel routinely.
•Valid driver's license without restrictions.
