REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
Ten (10) or more years of experience in Finance or related field required.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of managerial experience with demonstrated leadership ability required.
Five (5) years experience in healthcare and/or insurance plan experience required.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).
Working knowledge of financial transactions flow and their financial statements impact.
Certification (CPA, CMA, CFM) preferred.
Ability to work effectively in team environment and with multiple priorities and certain deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and organization skills.
Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have extensive experience in leading and executing on key business unit and segment level priorities in a high matrixed environment.
Must have extensive experience in building/retaining a high performance consultative oriented team.
