Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work in an automotive type setting. Position will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating manufacturing processes, improving processes on the manufacturing floor, lean manufacturing, participating in Kaizen events, 5s, utilizing knowledge of product design, material and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, manufacturing methods and quality control standards. Qualified candidate will assist in the project management of new program launches, develop and optimize new processes, estimate production times, and apply statistical methods to analyze manufacturing processes. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred. This is a long term permanent position here in the North Muskegon area.
