DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•activities at the Japanese OEM and Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier levels.Make sales calls on key accounts to develop applications, gain content, and develop long-term relationships with key engineers and purchasing.
•Develop strategic sales plans designed to further grow the business at the tier customers and OE through new product development and core products.
•Track content by car line of the existing business to report on a quarterly basis net new business gains and losses.
•Analyze and understand the competition and competitive products by application segment for the product markets and report on these changes.
•Relays all relevant product and performance information to the Program Manager so product development efforts can be initiated.
•Work with the lead market analysis to insure timely and accurate SAFE data..
•Communicate the customer needs to the Business Manager, Transplants to ensure a smooth communication channel within the organization.
•Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering preferred.
* Sales experience with the Automotive Industry both at an OEM and Tier Level a must with at least two (2) years of experience in sales management.
* Experience working with strategic planning, product positioning, competitive analysis, and revenue improvement required.
* Must be proactive, innovative and a self starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
* Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve customer problems.
* Must be able to travel 45% of the time.
* Japanese language skills required
