Systems Technology Group (STG) has immediate opening for a HR Benefits Administrator for our direct automotive client in Troy, MI. The duration is long-term (6+ months).
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer current Benefit Programs including enrollment, onboarding, effective delivery, cost effectiveness and compliance
- Manage vendor relationship and monitor performance to contracts
- Maintain regulatory compliance of benefit programs
- Build relationships with internal partners to deliver business objectives and resolve issues
- Assist with the identification, development and delivery of benefit design and delivery improvements
- Assist with the development of communication strategies, employee communications and their delivery
- Assist as required with the implementation of current projects to ensure a successful launch in 2018
- Work with Vendors and the HRIS project team to make the necessary changes in feeds from WorkDay and ADP to Vendors
- Respond to inquiries from participants, Union Benefit Representatives, HR managers, etc.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- A high level of self-motivation and self-management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a receptive atmosphere for delivering both positive and negative messages
- Advanced writing capabilities: Must be able to effectively write a variety of different types of documents and communications
- Ability to verbally communicate with a wide range of individuals with different knowledge levels. Must be able to explain complex information in a way that fosters understanding both in groups and with individuals
- Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to investigate and analyze complex problems, including the use of data and technology to determine the best outcome
- Skilled user of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience in benefit administration or related field
- Experience with HRIS, especially WorkDay
- Experience with payroll system and processes, especially ADP Global View
Required Education/Training:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related program
