The candidate will work closely with senior management, colleagues in sales and lead the company’s team of accessibility consultants.
Responsibilities include working with customers directly and with the team of consultants and partners to deliver the high value and the standard of service for which the Company is known. In addition the candidate is expected to work closely with sales to identify and develop additional opportunities in customer accounts.

Duties
o Understand and anticipate requirements
o Influence and shape the solution approach
o Manage schedules and deliverables using MS Project or other planning tools
o Negotiate changes to scope, schedules and effort estimates using MS Excel
o Lead effective meetings and communicate formally and informally to ensure project success
o Establish and maintain additional relationships o Learn and stay current on accessibility standards [ WCAG 2 and Section 508]
o Learn and use our software products to develop a deep knowledge of the technology and its leverage in solving customer problems
o Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations
o Assemble the right team of colleagues and sub-contractors for the project
o Lead the project team and ensure that resources are efficiently utilized through effective planning and communication
o Work effectively with subject matter experts (SME) and collaborate with the lead SME to ensure that the customer receives the best possible advice/outcome
o Keep colleagues in sales and support involved and informed as appropriate
o Help colleagues achieve personal development goals while delivering superior value to customers
o Report on billable hours, manage project budget and goals and assist management in meeting utilization and profitability goals
- Contribute to operational excellence
o Keep company management informed about customer projects – good news and bad
o Help identify and resolve recurrent/important problems in customer interaction or project execution
o Bring the “voice of the customer” to the rest of the company, and especially to the product development teams and provide them with insight and opportunities to understand how the products are actually used
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience leading a team of consultants providing services in support of enterprise software
- Demonstrated skills at leading teams of experts (who don’t work for you but are assigned to your project)
- Excellent verbal, phone and E-mail communication skills
- Travel locally and within the country by air, rail and car
- Experience at shaping professional written proposals
- Some experience with web-site/web-application development tools
- Some experience with risk management preferred
- Some experience with web-application testing preferred
