Position: Program Case Manager
Reports to: Supervisor
Salary: Commensurate with Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university with a major in related areas or comparable related experience preferred.
- Employment, Training and Workforce Development experience
- Knowledge of EEO laws (state and local)
- Working knowledge of computer applications
- Possesses the ability to work with a diverse population
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills
- Able to give close attention to detail
- Self-motivated and comfortable speaking with people
- Knowledge of current labor market demands
- Punctuality and good attendance a must
- Experience with federally funded eligibility criteria
Job Description:
- Maintains case management skills as needed
- Works as a liaison with other Michigan Works offices and Human Service agencies
- Completes monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports as required
- Responsible for monitoring and achieving all State and Federal performance benchmarks
- As designated by the Coordinator and/or Supervisor, accepts responsibility for coordination of specific funded grants
- Assist the customer in vocational exploration, job search and unsubsidized employment and training
- Provide linkages
- Assists customers in registering on MiTalent Connect
- Assists customers in researching and utilizing career placement and labor market information
- Networks with a diverse population including employers, supervisors, peers, administrators and customers
- Teaches, demonstrates and guides customer in job search techniques and posting resumes or job orders
- Responsible for reaching all State and Federal performance benchmarks
- Submits weekly reports
- Track program expenditures for support services and enrollments
- Meets performance standards related to participation, entered employments, wage gain, and job retention
- Other duties as assigned
