Busy medical office in Saginaw is looking for an experienced medical receptionist. Hours of work are: Monday 12pm to 5pm, Tuesday 12:30pm to 8pm, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30am to 7pm and Friday 10am to 2pm. Pay rate is $10/hr. Must have reliable transportation, a high school diploma/GED and be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Duties include:
-Greet clients, verify correct insurance and demographic information
-Notify therapist/doctor of client's arrival
-Explain intake paperwork to client . Assist with completion when necessary. Verify all areas of paperwork are completed.
-Collect co-pay and/or past due balances
-Check and respond to voicemail messages
-Complete any cancellations/schedules in the computer
-Answer all phone calls and direct to appropriate areas
-Run reports
-Make reminder phone calls for appointments
-Fax, file, misc office duties as needed
Need to have experience with a multi-line phone system and strong computer skills. This is a fast paced environment where you will need to be able to multi-task.
