Currently, we are seeking a Diesel Setpoint Calibration Engineer in our Dearborn, Michigan location.
Responsibilities:
* Diesel Powertrain Calibration for Emissions, Fuel Economy, Drivability.
* Optimize the engine setpoint calibration for key vehicle and program attributes (performance, fuel economy, emissions, NVH) in engine dynamometer test cells.
* Assess both dynamometer and vehicle data to produce optimal calibration.
* Develop and execute design of experiment based methods to create, progress, and mature the engine setpoint calibration.
* Design and conduct tests to support engine hardware and engine calibration characterization, validation.
* Assist the diagnosis of engine hardware and calibration related concerns that arise during the development process.
* Minimal travel required (< 5% of the engineer’s schedule)
