JOB SUMMARY: Perform various building maintenance and janitorial tasksESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilizes and complies with the Quality Management SystemWash/strip/wax floorsOperate floor maintenance equipmentMaintain inventory of janitorial suppliesStock and maintain dispensers (soap, paper towel, bathroom tissue)Remove rubbish and operate compactor Maintain fork truck driver's licenseClean break rooms and restroomsClean walls, counters, glass, rugs, carpets, etc. Ensure floor is swept and rugs are vacuumed daily in the main employee entranceClean the windows in the doors in the main employee entrance daily Maintain the cleanliness of the outside break area (i.e. Pick up any trash and debris, empty trash barrels) Sweep main aisles through manufacturing on a regular basis (including coating department) Use floor-cleaning machine on main aisles of manufacturing on weekly basis Empty recycling containersSweep the area around the F&K saw on a regular basis to prevent the foam debris from being tracked and blown to other areas Load empty paint barrels on to pallets and move to south end of building for pick up Shovel snow, mow grass, and perform various outdoor facility maintenance tasks. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to self-motiveSolid Communication skillsDetailed orientedEnjoy working with handsAbility to multi-task switch between different tasks MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent preferred PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Mechanical aptitudeFork truck experienceJanitorial experience preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.
