Role and Responsibilities
- Acts as liaison between supervisor, co-workers, and outside contractors to ensure that any maintenance that needs to be performed is timely, cost-effective, and correctly completed.
- Performs comprehensive maintenance, including the installation and repair of equipment.
- Measures, cuts, and installs building materials using hand and power tools.
- Assists in maintaining complete lawn care during the growing season.
- Assists with planting of trees, bushes, flowers, etc.
- Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensures proper care, maintenance, and safe use of equipment and supplies.
- Ensures work areas are kept orderly, clean, and safe.
- Ensures that all services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements.
- Communicates well with other departments on facility needs that may arise.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of related experience is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work outside required.
- Ability to safely operate hand, power, and yard tools.
- Attention to detail, and efficient time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on all client records and business-related records, as required under HIPAA guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs daily.

- Must be able to seize, hold, grasp, turn or otherwise work with your hand or hands.
- Must be able to lift to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to perceive sound by ear to interpret oral information from employees or others accurately or quickly.
- Work will be performed in a medical facility and outdoor environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
- Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions (i.e., Extreme heat and/or cold).
