James Gath Trucking, located in Standish MI, is looking to fill full-time flatbed driving positions. We run late model international tractors with 48’ aluminum flatbed trailers equipped with tarps, straps, chains, and binders. Starting pay ranges from $800-$1300 a week! We offer many benefits which include medical insurance, holiday pay, and vacation time. This is a Monday – Friday position, home on weekends.
Qualifications are as follows: Must be 23 years of age or older, must have one year tractor trailer driver experience, must meet the medical standards of D.O.T., must pass pre-employment drug screening, must possess a valid CDL Class A License, must have knowledge of D.O.T. regulations governing safe driver, hours of service, inspections and maintenance, must be able to be away from home for extended periods of time, and must be able to complete a road test with qualified personnel.
Job Details are as follows: Safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicle, safe and timely transportation of freight from origin to destination, proper loading and unloading of freight to assure safety and minimal risk of damage to cargo and danger to persons, professional representation of the company, responsible and courteous driving, timely communication with dispatch as requested, over all aspects of vehicle systems and equipment, loading and unloading safety and security of cargo, and reports all accidents/incidents involving driver or company equipment.
