DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Title: Ford Truck Communications Manager
Responsibilities:
* Boost purchase consideration and favorability of Ford trucks in the U.S. by emphasizing Quality, Green, Safe and Smart product strengths in current and future Ford truck to all audiences - media, influencers, dealers, employees/retirees, suppliers and consumers
* Develop and lead execution of Ford’s U.S. Truck Communications plan, working with a blended team of integrated partners and in alignment with the Global Product Communications team and processes
* Consistently deliver Ford’s U.S. truck stories and messages through aggressive enterprise storytelling in all key earned media channels - print, broadcast and social
* Broaden the company’s media profile to include more Ford truck exposure in non-automotive publications and venues
* Support regional outreach of all Ford truck-related communications
* Co-develop and deliver sound Ford truck communications plans to reach all key internal stakeholders - including employees, retirees and union members - as well as U.S. dealers
* Support development of truck-related materials and assets with the Communication Team’s Content Factory
* Serve as truck media spokesperson for product story placements and pitching
