DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Description/Overview:
The Connected Vehicle & Services team is seeking a new engineer to join the team. We are seeking an engineer to work on a new method of Connected Vehicle diagnostic data collection. This role is best suited for someone with vehicle Diagnostic Data and CAN data; experience with Connected Vehicles, Telematics communication protocols, encryption schemes, Cloud architecture, Data storage schema and data analytics. Experience with Powertrain Control Modules is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Lead engineer for an entirely new method of Connected Vehicle diagnostic data collection on future models designed specifically to supply the next generation of Connected Vehicle Diagnostic Data
* End-to-end Feature Ownership of this new capability, working everything from Requirements to Validation to Product Launch.
* Lead the development of this feature to enhance Ford's vehicle data access to be the most advanced in the industry, paving the path toward advanced analytics, remote diagnostics, and prognostics.
