CNC Lathe Supervisor
Pay up to $30/hr
Hours: 6am - 4/6pm, Mon - Fri., Sat isn’t mandatory
Machine set-up responsibilities and mentoring of other operators in the department. Supervises and mentors 25-30 workers of machining operations.
Programs & Sets up Fanuc controlled (CNC) lathes - Mori Seiki & Samsung
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Selects, positions, and secures tool in toolholder (chuck, collect, or toolpost)
Positions and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixture)
HS or G.E.D.
5-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
*Permanent position, 90 day contract to direct hire
