Conduct internal &external supplier investigations, provide guidance on company policies concerning anticorruption, antifraud, &misconduct in foreign operations located in Asia, Africa, Australia, Russia &Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Work with foreign legal counsel &forensic auditors, lead &support a broad range of global special investigations to enforce with specific focus on Code of Conduct (i.e., Winning with Integrity) &strict compliance with anti-corruption laws such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the U.K. Bribery Act, &other anti-corruption laws where GM operates. Provide investigations, anti-corruption &corporate compliance training, manage &support GM Global Ethics & Compliance Center (“GECC”) law-centric projects working collaboratively with other members of the GECC (e.g., Chief Compliance Officer, Regional Compliance Officers, Compliance Process Members, Export Compliance Office, &Data Privacy Team). Dvlp strategies to mitigate corruption &other corporate compliance risks, &manage &effectively respond to requests for guidance made of the GECC. Master of Law, International Law or Comparative Law. 24 mos exp as Country Compliance Officer or related, conducting internal &external supplier investigations, providing guidance on company policies in connection with alleged corruption, fraud &other alleged wrongdoing or misconduct in foreign operations such as in Asia, Russia &CIS. 20% of annual employment will require travel to Asia, Africa, Australia, Russia and CIS.
