DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Overview/Description:
Ford is seeking a manufacturing engineer to join the team. This role will include working with Ford Industrial Engineers; deliver a business process, and leading teams responsible for benchmarking. This role is located in Dearborn, MI.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team responsible for benchmarking other industries to discover innovative ways to improve design for the assembly of vehicles.
* Work with Ford Industrial Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Design Engineers.
* This project will incorporate a partnership between Design and Manufacturing teams.
* Identify designs from non-automotive projects that can be applied to automotive parts for future programs.
* Provide transformational deliverables to optimize future designs.
* Deliver a business process that will sustain the improvement process.
