Interact with Federal-Mogul Design & Analysis group to formulate proposals that meet customer requirements and satisfy internal requirements. Optimize and further refine proposals based on feedback from subsequent analyses and field engine tests. Analyze and document results from piston measurements and pistons after engine testing. Work with Sales, customer, and production site to launchproduct to meet internal milestones and customer expectations. Contribute to AE group with experience and market trends. Act as first point of contact with customer engineering community. Travel up to 20%. REQUIREMENTS (applicants with any suitable equivalent combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable): Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required. 2 years of experience in the job described or as an Operations, Design, or Analysis Engineer required. Experience must include print reading and GD&T; application of internal combustion engine and piston operating and manufacturing principles; and APQP procedures.OTHER: Job Site: Plymouth, MI. $93,499.90 / year, 40 hours per week.
