As the Technical Writer, you will:

• Organize material and complete writing assignments, ensuring order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology are in accordance to set standards
• Maintain records and files of work product and revisions
• Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or personnel
• Confer with manufacturing representatives, vendors, corporate executives, and support staff to establish proper technical specifications and subject material for publication
• Review published materials and recommend revisions or modifications related to scope, format, and content
• Create illustrations; select or produce photographs, drawings, sketches, videos, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material
• Review drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples for integration into written material
• Prepare documents for print and duplication, ensuring final product is print-ready
• Analyze developments in specific product fields to determine need for revisions of previously published materials, revising or drafting new materials where necessary or in accordance with best practice
• Review manufacturers' drawings, documents, and other data relative to operation, maintenance, service and training material for equipment

• Have a Bachelor's Degree or combination of training and demonstrated success in a similar role
• Have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in technical writing for medical devices or related industry (strongly preferred)
• Possess a general knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and software aspects of machinery and equipment
• Have the ability to read and understand product drawings from manufacturers (blueprints) and their use
• Possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of desktop publishing and illustration software such as, Adobe products; specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
