DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for day to day activities surrounding the knowledge around development and support of medical benefits and provider reimbursement. Demonstrated ability to successfully define an approach including business requirements gathering, prioritization, testing and documentation for status of configuration or project. Knowledge of regulatory reporting. Effective problem solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals. excellent written and verbal communication skills. Interpret, analyze and develop system solutions from business requirements received from multiple business areas. Perform configuration work directly in Facets, NetworX Pricer or Clinical Care Advance, or utilizes advanced excel spreadsheets and MS Access SQL scripts to analyze database changes and update the code for automated loading to the appropriate system. Perform comprehensive unit testing, and interact with business areas to analyze results from User Acceptance Testing. Partner with business and IT to deliver enhancements and defect updates provided by the software vendor.
Work closely with business areas, IT and peers on multiple small to large complex business projects to research and analyze the business requirements.Identify and evaluate data and configuration changes needed within the software systems. Code the application using online tools, advanced excel and SQL. Ensure that solution is fully integrated across the software application as well as any downstream solutions reliant upon the data configuration. Ensure full documentation and communication of software changes. Develop, document and execute unit test plans. Engage with business and IT to develop SIT and UAT test plans. Resolve defects discovered during testing. Represent the department and participate in workgroups and business committees. Performs other duties as assigned.
