The Information Technology (IT) Business Relationship Manager (BRM) develops a solid understanding of Dart’s corporate and production business functions to evaluate projects, determine return on investment and make recommendations to ensure that appropriate technology or services are developed to meet the Company’s needs. As an advocate, the IT BRM ensures that IT is working on those things that are most important to their business peers. IT BRMs support the areas of Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance (FIN), Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP), Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM), Engineering (ENG) and Master Data.
Day-to-Day Role:

Act as an advocate to support or promote business peers' interests

Liaise with business peers and IT staff to assist in resolving problems with processes and the associated solutions and software systems

Manage requests from business peers for enhancements and system changes while ensuring IT is providing consultation to their requirements and aligning priorities

Meet with decision-makers, system/infrastructure owners and end users to define business, financial, and operation requirements and systems goals

Perform analysis of business or technology requirements and processes

Translate conceptual requirements into functional requirements

Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and systems to develop strategies for improving or further leveraging technology solutions to meet business goals

Participate in the evaluation of vendor software targeted for possible integration into the systems or environment, including strategic applications, tools, and utilities

Participate in cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions

Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise by providing instruction and training to users on processes and system tools to perform their jobs

Ensure confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information and adhere to company security policies

Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to continually align the project with business objectives

Provide strategic consultation to assigned business customers to define or design business processes

Research, identify and internally market enabling technologies based on customer requirements
