Door Assembly Responsible for building doors on the interior door lay up line to customer specification according to the information on the batch sheet.Shift Hours:
- 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm), 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am)
- OT may be required based on workload
Job Requirements:
- Follow established company safety policy and procedures
- Read production schedule, product codes and batch tickets
- Communicate verbally and coordinate with lead feeder and other lay up personnel
- Read and use measuring device (tape measure)
- Operate hydraulic lift (if applies to job)
- Start up, operate, maintain and clean glue spreader (following procedures set by company)
- Identify door components used in the assembly process
- Meet established efficiency, quality and production goals
- Must be able to reach, push, pull, twist and turn upper body and occasionally lift 50 pounds (2-people share)
- Must be able to routinely grasp and move 9 pound (18 pounds booked) skins from rollers to building table
- Must be a team player and work well with other lay-up employees
- Work in a quick pace, physically demanding job for eight hours
- Must be able to stand for eight hours (with 1-25 minute break)
PAY VARIES BETWEEN 11-12.50/HR BASED ON SHIFT AND POSITION
