The Account Representative will use his/her experience and talents to provide analytical support to the sales and marketing staff by preparing initial reports and strategic assessments; typically accompany senior sales staff on major account calls, and may have coordinating role on minor accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Learn the job expectations and objectives of the Account Managers, and act as a primary back up, and understudy to the Account Manager.
Provide support in pricing studies, the collection of market data, the development of the long-term sales forecast, and in responding to other special requests from customers.
Provide post bid award feedback to the Account Manager.
Maintain an open and collaborative relations with the Design, Engineering, Program Management, and Sales departments.
Facilitate meeting program milestones.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related discipline and 1 to 3 years of prior sales or related business experience.
