Responsible for supporting senior professionals/engineers in a design/development electrical engineering advanced products lab. Must be capable of setting up, checking, and correcting operational and experimental/prototypes; including schematics, circuitry, and test equipment. Has to be administratively proficient to record data related to test, or components design/modifications on paper via pre-established guidelines/specifications. Requires 2 yrs formal education or equivalent military experience/certification with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the electronics design/repairs, a maintenance facility or in a related arena. Must be hands-on/capable to hand-solder to SMD and IPC standards. Familiar with standard industry concepts, practices, and procedures within electrical/electronics field. Relies on experience and process/procedures coupled to written direction, drawings, plans and or established goals/objectives. Performs a variety of electronic tasks.
