Electrical Systems Campaign Prevent Engineer - 26874BR
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ford Motor Company's Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineering organization is looking for motivated and talented individuals with a background in vehicle level electrical systems. This position is part of the Core Engineering group supporting the development activities of all NA vehicle programs to improve vehicle quality for Ford Motor Company customers. Responsibilities include supporting the vehicle program teams to identify and resolve electrical system issues found throughout the vehicle development and pre-launch builds by performing deep dive reviews of engineering documents and vehicle level reviews.
Position Duties:
* Support maintenance of Systems (export issues, configuration issues, software release issues, interface issues, KOL issues, etc.) Campaign Prevent History Document
* Support maintenance of Systems Fresh Eyes Review Checklist
* Support Systems Campaign Prevent Awareness Session and Deep Dives
* Support Software, Configuration and KOL Fresh Eyes Reviews
* Support management of PAAT process and approvals
* Support review of Program System FMEA recommended action status and completion
* Support review and sign-off program fusing and grounding strategies
* Support Systems Field Investigations and Field Service Action Resolution
* Support / Review Stop Ship Resolution
* Support PAC paper process 8D/5D’s as needed
* Support Automotive Safety Office as needed
* Support CCRG EDS investigation Reviews as needed
* Help identify systemic issues from Campaign Prevent activities, recommend prevent actions, and lead the development/revision of the associated core documentation
* Support mentoring of Systems Application teams in robust design and SCCAF execution
* Support the updates to the Campaign Prevent Process Book for Electrical and implement associated lessons learned
* Support the development or revision of Systems Design Rules or Systems SDSs based on campaigns
* Support Global CPS’s Communications to understand and concur on FER observations, issue resolution, and Global History Matrix
* Participate in issue resolution and support:
* Systems Application Engineers for systems issues
* D&R Engineers for design issues
* Plant Engineering for plant operations issues
