7TH LEVEL POSITION REPORTING TO TIM HALEY
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead deployment of the formal I&CIM training program in plant 7 to achieve cost savings and certification targets
- Coach candidates in the use of statistical toolsets aimed at both reactive and proactive problem solving
- Deliver formal training as required
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in advanced statistical topics for the plant and the company
- Develop advanced training material on a variety of problem-solving topics
- Interface with external training consultants as required
- Crisis problem solving as required
- Assist in maintaining cost controls
- Stay abreast of new technology and problem solving toolsets
QUALIFICATIONS:
DEGREE: BACHELORS (Masters preferred)
MAJOR: ENGINEERING OR STATISTICS
- Knowledge of engineering theory, principles of design and manufacturing processes
- I&CIM certification to minimum of Principal level
- Excellent organization and documentation abilities
- Demonstrated problem solving competency
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with people
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of statistical tools like Minitab
- Knowledge of project management processes and tools is preferred
- Speaking & Listening: Communicating with work team and customers
- Sitting: The employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time
