Construction work site locations vary greatly, with the majority being in Green Bay/Fox Valley area and Marinette County. Occasional overnight travel within WI.
$12.00 Per Hour to $17.00 Per Hour
Three month probation period. Employees are eligible for raises when they show they can work with minimal direction. Amount is dependent upon job performance. Applicants with a Class B CDL start at higher wage than those without.
Duration/Hours Per Week:
Full-Time, 32 to 40 Hours Per Week Part-time (on-call) position is also available and is year-round; perfect for the "retired" worker to earn some extra income.
Shift/Work Days:
6am to 3pm depending on job size and location.
Monday-Friday.

Professional Licenses / Certifications:
Valid driver's license required. Obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License within 6 months of hire for permanent positions.
Drivers License:
Class D - Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Required, Class B - Commercial Motor Vehicle Desired
Experience / Qualifications:
No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training is provided. A valid driver license is required and a driver's license check will be conducted for insurance purposes. Must have the ability to obtain a Class B CDL. The Company provides reimbursement for the cost of the CDL test upon successful completion. An hourly raise is provided also
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction with accuracy and retain knowledge.
Ability to lift bags of insulation repeatedly and for prolonged periods.
Ability to operate machinery safely; climb ladders/scaffolding, and periodically work in confined/tight areas such as attics and crawlspaces. Work in inclement weather conditions but generally indoors.
Must be punctual, work well with others, and respectful of home owners and builders.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
Line and cover structures with insulating materials. May work with batt, roll, or blown insulation materials.
Initial duties will include loading job materials needed into work vehicles for the next day; opening and dumping bags of cellulose insulation into a hopper, following instructions to start/stop equipment as directed by those installing the insulation. Sweeping/vacuuming loose materials from floors, as well as cleaning work sites and vehicles. Conduct daily vehicle checks using checklist. Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
Responsible for observing all safety rules and procedures.
As experience is gained, will install caulking, proper vents, insulation of various types, and staple poly to walls/ceilings.
• Distribute insulating materials evenly into small spaces within floors, ceilings, or walls, using blowers and hose attachments.
• Fit, wrap, staple, insulating materials to structures or surfaces, using hand tools.
• Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces, using tape measures, box cutters, or scissors.
• Move controls, buttons, or levers to start blowers and regulate flow of materials through nozzles.
• Fill blower hoppers with insulating materials.
• Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces or access holes with plastic covers, sealants, tape.

Flex-time is offered at 1 1/2 hours of flex-time per 1 hour worked over 40 in a week as an option to paid overtime. This time may be accrued and used as sick or personal time off. Funeral leave is also offered to full-time employees. Per diem paid for overnight travel. Bonuses at end of year.
