Federal Mogul's Powertrain Division is looking for an Intern that will be responsible for a variety of projects to support the design, implementation, communication, system support, and ongoing operation of benefit programs for the Company's employees. This person will become a valued member of our Corporate Benefits Department, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who is pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Interest in employee benefits, an energetic self-starter, and strong sense of customer service are all necessary qualifications for this position. We are ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Human Resources to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Director of Global Benefit Programs. EDUCATION:
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. As well as, college coursework in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent discipline.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Interest in Employee Benefits, Human Resources, and HR Information Systems
Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve in a logical manner
Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Technical aptitude; comfortable learning and using various electronic systems
Strong analytical skills; ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks / projects
Open to learning and willing to be coached and developed
Flexible to take on other duties as assigned
