Job Description:
This is a 6 month temporary position with the opportunity for extension. This position will be a member of a global software project that is replacing regionally based engineering tools across Dematic to a single engineering platform. The project team consists of 45+ culturally diverse contributors spanning 7 + countries and multiple time zones.
This position will facilitate 2 - 3 of our 7 Scrum Teams in a scaled Scrum of Scrums model that is supported by a single content backlog. This backlog then funnels into a master-scaled backlog managed by the Product Owner team and a Steering Team of Business Owners. This individual will work closely with a dynamic leadership team including other Scrum Masters, a Scrum Coach, Program Manager, and Global Product Owner. The position will support these Scrum Teams in the delivery and execution of committed goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Execute on behaviors of servant-based leadership that garner strong relationships within and outside of the scrum team
* Facilitate discussions in decision making
* Ensure scrum teams are focused on the highest priority item set by the product owner and product owner agent at all times
* Facilitate the daily scrum, sprint planning, and team retrospective
* Engage the team in estimation exercises that target the team’s goals and create accountability
* Empower team members to own effort and initiatives within their teams through self-organization
* Support the use of JIRA & Confluence by adhering to standard work guidelines
* Remove roadblocks from the team to enable members the most efficient development atmosphere
* Contribute to an highly engaged co-located environment
* Support the Product Owner Agent(s) in coordination of requirements gathering
* Contributes to the QA & UAT process in accordance with the sprint cadence and release schedule
* Ensures teams are executing effort in accordance to standard work processes
