REQUIREMENTS
- Education required: High school diploma or equivalency
- Experience required: Minimum 10 years Press operator machinist Must have experience going directly from print to part,
- Familiar with prototypes, blank development, setting up tools, tryouts etc.
- Experience with welding, fabricating sheet metal prototypes from start to finish to the customer’s specification.
- Day shift
- Follow corporate, quality and safety policies procedures.
- Establishes job processes – layout of drawings to determine material dimensions, required equipment and operation sequences.
- Set up and operate machines such as presses, mills, saws, grinders, lathes etc., to fabricate prototypes.
- Operating hand tools – Air and power.
- Devise and construct tools and fixtures or modify existing tools and fixtures.
- Rework or alter prototypes as required to meet specifications.
- Assign duties to general laborers to assist in job process.
- Filling out appropriate forms – work orders, move tickets, etc.
- Hi-Lo driver
- Knowledge of Mig & Tig welding.
- Clean and maintain work areas, machines and tooling.
- Skills, knowledge or abilities: Read, write & speak the English language fluently.
